Job Description
Purpose of role : Provide disability support to Participants the organization supports via the NDIS.
Main duties and responsibilities :
Core objectives include:
- Personal care including showering, toileting and grooming;
- Meal preparation;
- Assistance with medication management;
- Social support;
- Domestic assistance;
- Financial assistance;
- Provide assistance to Participants to ensure they achieve their NDIS goals.
Other duties : Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
Person Specification
Qualifications : Preference that staff have or are studying qualifications related to the role.Experience : Preference is that staff have experience or a lived experience in the sector, or transferable skills.

- Staff must have either a Yellow Card or an NDIS worker Screening clearance prior to commencing work;
- Staff must have a current First Aid/CPR certificate at all times;

- Staff must have a drivers license AND access to a insured vehicle to transport Participants as and when required (staff will be reimbursed a Kilometre allowance as per their contractual agreements).
